So so so so good! So good! I'm pretty sure that John is of German stock but I always thought he looked part Native American - not in a Tom T Hall way but a Richard Gere way. The kind of look that makes it obvious that people came from the west, across the Pacific to North America... very Japanese looking.

John Denver was one of our greatest poets and composers. His music never fails to touch me. I know that many people, especially guys, are sometime hesitant to express their appreciation for his music. But his death was a great loss for many. Myself included. Thank you for posting this video so for those who appreciate this amazing performer, can enjoy his music once again.

@hermitcrab8518 I've just finished watching the show. I not an expert on John Denver's life but the movie seemed too linear and the playback scenes were horrible! However, I have to say that Chad Lowe characterization seemed very real compared to John Denver's appearance and I think the defining moments of the movie come all packed up in the last 10 minutes. The scene with the reference to Poems, Prayers and Promises gave the chills... :) It could be better but it wasn't bad. Thanks. ;)

@jmldspt Hi it's called Take Me Home The John Denver Story. It was on CBS in 2000. You can get it from netflix and amazon. It's not bad they just didn't get the best actors for it and a lot of things were left out.
